About this course
Key West Golf Club is located on Stock Island, part of the City of Key West in Monroe County, Florida, the southernmost golf course in the continental United States. The course was built on coral rock terrain that required dynamite to clear for fairways during construction.
The City of Key West purchased the land in 1923 and hired architects William Langford and Theodore Moreau to design an eighteen-hole course; only nine holes officially opened, in 1924, as the full plan was never completed for financial reasons. Additional holes were built in the 1960s, and in 1983 architect Rees Jones and co-designer Keith Evans redesigned the entire course. It has been leased and operated by the Smith family since 1994, including rebuilding after Hurricane Wilma's storm surge in 2005.
Key West Golf Club is open to the public, with four sets of tees, a driving range, and a golf school for children each spring. It is recognized on the Florida Historic Golf Trail.

Mustang Golf Club is one of two public courses at Lely Resort in Naples, on Florida's Gulf Coast. Designed by Lee Trevino and opened in 1996, the layout occupies flat Southwest Florida terrain shaped with rolling fairways and a dozen lakes worked into the routing. Trevino built the course with generous width and large, receptive greens so that recovery from an errant shot remains possible, while still offering a stern test from the back markers, which stretch to roughly 7,200 yards at par 72. Multiple tee options on every hole widen the range of players who can enjoy it. Mustang is open to the public daily with no membership required, and it operates alongside the resort's Flamingo course, a Robert Trent Jones Sr. design, as part of Lely Resort's 36-hole public offering. A practice range is available for warming up before a round.
