Hogan rather than golfer Ben Hogan. It has hosted the LPGA Tall City Open in the 1960s, the Trans-Mississippi Amateur in 1977, and the city's annual championship. Quail is laid out in a parkland style with more trees than its sister Roadrunner course. It is a public, par-70 layout, with a pro shop, restaurant, and driving range shared between both courses.
