About this course
The Sanctuary Golf Course is an 18-hole public course in New Lenox, Illinois, designed by architect Steve Halberg and opened in 1996. Built across a creekside prairie with scattered tree groves and wetlands, the course plays roughly 6,900 yards from the back tees with a slope of 131. It features bentgrass tees, fairways and greens, 68 bunkers, and water in play on 14 of its 18 holes. The Sanctuary offers four sets of tees for a range of skill levels in the southwest Chicago suburbs.
