A town-owned municipal course in Smithtown on Long Island, built in the early 1960s on the former Gobel estate. The 18-hole, par-72 regulation course plays to about 6,100 yards and is joined by a 9-hole par-3 layout. The town completed a round of renovations in 2019, and the property once doubled as a small ski area in winter.

Sunken Meadow State Park features 27 holes playable as either 9 or 18 holes. The first two courses were built in 1962, followed by the Blue Course in 1964. All three courses were designed by Alfred Tull, who also designed the Yellow course and redesigned the Blue course at Bethpage State Park. Tull preferred to utilize the natural lay of the land, bringing the existing terrain into his design. Golfers can expect a somewhat hilly and variable layout surrounded by mature woodlands, offering an attractive and relaxing experience. In addition to the beautiful woodland setting, the driving range offers expansive panoramic views of the Long Island Sound.

Designed by Tyler Rae on the outer edges of a luxury apartment community in Centereach, the nine-hole layout makes the most of its constrained site with thoughtful green complexes and dramatic topography. The final three holes on the southernmost portion of the property are the standout stretch, culminating in the drivable par-4 eighth. Named after the Culper Spy Ring, a network of American Revolution-era spies who operated in the area.
