Santa Maria Golf Course is a public course operated by BREC in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, located about a mile off Highland Road near Interstate 10. It was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and is the only Robert Trent Jones course in Louisiana, built across 150 acres of rolling terrain with 15 lakes and two natural waterways.
The par-72 layout measures 6,969 yards from its championship tees, with Bermuda fairways, sand and grass bunkers, and mature oak trees framing the holes. A Spanish-style clubhouse houses a pro shop, restaurant and fitness center, and the course regularly hosts local amateur tournaments, including the Baton Rouge Open. Tee times can be booked up to six days in advance.
