The Arthur Hills Course at Palmetto Hall Plantation is located on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, near the island's antebellum-style clubhouse northwest of the airport.
Designed by architect Arthur Hills, the 18-hole course opened in 1991 and plays to a par of 72, stretching to about 6,918 yards from the back tees. The course runs through stands of pines and moss-draped oaks past several lakes, with bunkered, well-protected greens and a demanding par-4 closing hole.
Once a private club, the course now operates on a semi-private basis with tee times open to visiting golfers as well as club members. A driving range and golf professional staff are available on site, and the club offers year-round play.
