Oyster Reef Golf Club is a semi-private course on Hilton Head Island, designed by Rees Jones and opened in 1982, when it was recognized as one of the top 25 new courses in America. Carved out of 190 acres of Lowcountry terrain, the par-72 layout plays to about 7,014 yards from the championship tees, surrounded by winding lagoons. The signature par-3 sixth plays 192 yards to a green set against Port Royal Sound, one of the most photographed holes on the island.

Once a private club, the course now operates on a semi-private basis with tee times open to visiting golfers as well as club members. A driving range and golf professional staff are available on site, and the club offers year-round play.
