Shepherd's Rock is the second Pete Dye course at Nemacolin in Farmington, Pennsylvania, built with Tim Liddy and opened in 2017. It occupies higher, more wooded Laurel Highlands ground than Mystic Rock across the resort.
The course is routed over ridges and through hardwood, with rock ledges left in place and holes falling sharply from tee to fairway. Dye's bunkering and bulkheading appear throughout, and the greens are quick with steep surrounds that punish long-side misses.
It plays as a par 72 at over 7,200 yards and is open to resort guests and public play.
