About this course
Highland Links sits on windswept bluffs above the Atlantic in North Truro, Massachusetts, next to the historic Highland Light within the Cape Cod National Seashore. Founded around 1892 to 1898, it is considered one of the oldest golf courses on Cape Cod and one of the few genuine links courses in the eastern United States, with deep natural rough, heath and ocean views.
The course was first laid out by Willard Small, redesigned in 1913 by J. Henry McKinley, and refurbished again in the 1950s under owner Hal Conklin. It became federal property when the National Seashore was created in the 1960s and is now operated under a National Park Service concession.
Highland Links is a public nine-hole course playing to a par of 70 from the men's tees, open daily during the golf season with tee times bookable through the concessionaire.
