The par-71 layout plays from 4,884 to 6,509 yards across four sets of tees. Bunkering was renovated in later years by architect Robert McNeil of The Northeast Golf Company, along with tee and cart path improvements. The course is open to public play year round, weather permitting, and includes a grass driving range, practice green, cart rentals and a pro shop. The Bunker Bar restaurant sits alongside the course, and the two municipal courses together host roughly 90,000 rounds a year.

Ocean Edge Golf Club sits on the former Nickerson estate in Brewster, Massachusetts, on the bay side of Cape Cod. The original 18-hole course, designed by Geoffrey Cornish and Brian Silva, opened in 1986. Nicklaus Design rebuilt the course from the ground up, and the new layout opened in 2007. The front holes move through pine and oak woodland with several ponds, while the back nine opens into wider ground with more room off the tee. The rebuild kept the general routing through the property but reshaped the greens and bunkers and added length, so the course now plays to about 7,011 yards from the back tees. Cape wind and firm, well-defended greens are the main test, since the terrain itself is only moderately rolling rather than dramatic. The course is private to Ocean Edge Club members and resort guests, with no public tee times.
