About this course
The Blue Course is one of three 18-hole courses at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York, a large Nassau County park on Long Island. The course is flat and relatively forgiving, with elevated greens and paired par-3 holes that help keep play moving.
It was designed in 1951 by Robert Trent Jones, one of the most prolific American golf architects of the twentieth century, and shares many design traits with the neighboring White Course. Fairway bunkers and greenside traps are the main defenses on a course that favors long, straight hitters.
As a Nassau County-operated facility, the Blue Course is open to the public year round, weather permitting, with tee times available for county residents and visitors. A new irrigation system has been installed as part of ongoing course improvements.
