About this course
East Potomac Golf Links' Red Course is one of three public layouts sharing Hains Point in Washington, D. C., within the National Park Service's East Potomac Park. The park's golf grounds opened in the 1920s on land reclaimed from the Potomac River flats, and the Red Course runs alongside its sister Blue and White courses near the Washington Channel. National Links Trust has operated the facility since 2020, continuing its long run as one of the district's most-played municipal golf destinations. The setting offers open, flat terrain with views toward the Washington Monument and Tidal Basin.

East Potomac Golf Links' Blue Course is an 18-hole municipal layout on Hains Point in Washington, D. C., bordered by the Potomac River and Washington Channel. Designed by Walter Travis and opened in 1920, it was conceived as a reversible course in the tradition of the Old Course at St. Andrews. The National Park Service owns the land, and National Links Trust has managed the facility's restoration since 2020. Flat and walkable, the course offers views of the Washington Monument and Tidal Basin and sits amid the city's famous cherry blossom trees.

The University of Maryland Golf Course is an 18-hole semi-private course located on the northern edge of the University of Maryland's campus in College Park, Maryland. It serves as the home course for the Maryland Terrapins men's and women's golf teams and hosts more than 50,000 rounds annually. The course was designed by George Cobb and completed in the late 1950s. It was renovated by Bill Love in 2008 and 2009. It plays to just over 7,000 yards from the back tees with a par of 71. Open to alumni, faculty, staff, students, and the public, the facility includes a clubhouse with Mulligan's Grill and Pub, a 45-station driving range and a large putting green. It hosted a Nationwide Tour event in 2010 and 2011.
