The Brookside Club is a semi-private course in Bourne, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod just over the Bourne Bridge. It was designed by golf architect Michael Hurdzan and opened in 1986, then refined by architect John Sanford in 1996. The par-70 layout runs through a residential community, with condominiums bordering many fairways and greens, and features steep elevation changes and several partially blind approach shots that give it an unusual character for the region. The course promotes itself as offering a private club feel while remaining open to public play, with a restaurant and event space also on site. At roughly 6,300 yards from the back tees, the course rewards accurate iron play over length, particularly on its narrower, sloping holes.
