Bally's Golf Links at Ferry Point
Jack Nicklaus links golf with Manhattan skyline views: a $127M public course in the Bronx.

About this course
Bally's Golf Links at Ferry Point is an 18-hole public course on a former landfill site in the Throgs Neck section of the Bronx, designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened for play in 2015. The par-71 layout plays to 7,407 yards from the back tees and sits on a peninsula bordered by the East River, with views of the Manhattan skyline, the Whitestone Bridge, and the Throgs Neck Bridge from most holes. Built as a nearly treeless, links-style design, the course uses flowing native grasses, dunes, and elevated tees that rise as high as 55 feet above the surrounding land. Tee times are available to the public through the course's own booking system.

Harbor Links Golf Course
Port Washington, NY · 8.1 mi away
Harbor Links Golf Course in Port Washington was built on the site of a former sand mine and opened in 1998 to a design by Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry. The links-style layout uses the exposed, sandy terrain left by more than a century of mining, including split fairways and a prominent rocky bluff. Enormous volumes of sand were extracted from the site historically for use in New York City construction. The course is public and operated by Nassau County on Long Island's North Shore.
Sprain Lake Golf Course
Yonkers, NY · 12 mi away
Sprain Lake Golf Course is a Westchester County-owned public course in Yonkers, New York, located on Grassy Sprain Road in a wooded, residential part of the county. Designed by golf course architect Tom Winton, Sprain Lake has small greens and rolling terrain, with a long, narrow routing that produces a mostly linear, back-and-forth style of play. Water hazards come into play on a number of holes, adding to the course's difficulty despite its modest length. The course is operated by Westchester County's golf division alongside several sister municipal courses and is open to public play. It measures 6,110 yards from the back tees at a par of 70 over 18 holes.
Rockleigh Golf Course
Rockleigh, NJ · 14 mi away
Rockleigh Golf Course is a public golf facility at the base of the Palisades in Rockleigh, New Jersey, owned by Bergen County. The original Red and White nines were laid out by architect Alfred H. Tull in 1946, followed by Robert Trent Jones Sr.'s Blue nine in 1961, giving the site 27 holes across 264 acres. Architect Robert McNeil oversaw a 2004 renovation that added new tee boxes and bunkers and rebuilt several greens. The course sits on former Dutch farmland dating to the 18th century.
