Ivins, UT

Black Desert Golf Course in Ivins, Utah, opened in 2023 and was the final design of Tom Weiskopf, completed after his death by his longtime design partner Phil Smith. The course is routed through a black lava flow at the edge of Snow Canyon, and the contrast between the dark rock, the green turf and the red sandstone cliffs behind it is the defining visual of the place. Rather than clear the lava, the design works around it. Fairways thread between rock fields, several tee shots carry over them, and a ball in the lava is unplayable. The greens are large with soft internal movement, and the elevation change across the property is significant. Black Desert hosted a PGA Tour event in October 2024 and an LPGA Tour event in 2025, and it is open to the public alongside the resort at the site.

Roscommon, MI

Forest Dunes Golf Club opened in 2002 in Roscommon, Michigan, on a sandy site within the Huron National Forest, near the Au Sable River. Tom Weiskopf designed the course, which was largely built by 2000 but did not open for play until 2002. The front nine runs through a more parkland setting of pine and hardwood, while the back nine crosses sandy waste areas that have drawn comparisons to Pine Valley. Fairways are wide and firm, and the greens are large and contoured to suit the natural sand base beneath them. From the back tees the course plays 7,116 yards at par 72, with a course rating of 75.2 and a slope of 146. The resort sits roughly three hours north of Detroit, and lodging is built around the first tee so guests can walk straight from their rooms to the course. Forest Dunes shares its property with Tom Doak's reversible Loop course, played clockwise one day and counterclockwise the next.

Scottsdale, AZ

The Monument Course at Troon North in Scottsdale was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and opened in 1990. It takes its name from the granite outcropping standing in the middle of the third fairway. The routing threads through boulder fields and saguaro stands in the upper Sonoran Desert, with fairways defined by desert on both sides rather than rough. Weiskopf and Morrish left the natural washes in place, so several holes require a carry from the tee and the safe line is often the longer one. It is open to public and resort play, walkable in the cooler months, and remains the older of the two courses at the club.

Scottsdale, AZ

TPC Scottsdale's Stadium Course is an 18-hole public course in Scottsdale, Arizona, designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and opened in 1986. The course was renovated in 2014. It plays to a par of 71 at roughly 7,216 yards from the back tees, with a course rating of 74.6 and a slope of 138. The par-3 16th hole is fully enclosed by permanent grandstand seating, giving the layout its Stadium Course name. Desert terrain and gently undulating fairways surround the course throughout the round.

Castle Rock, CO

The Ridge at Castle Pines North is a public course in Castle Rock, Colorado, south of Denver, cut through a forest of Gambel oak and ponderosa pine in the foothills of the Front Range. Open stretches of the course offer views toward Pikes Peak, Devil's Head and downtown Denver. The course was designed by Tom Weiskopf and opened in 1997, featuring roomy fairways, shaped bunkers and large rolling greens characteristic of his design style. The Ridge operates as a daily-fee public facility managed by Troon Golf, with tee times available directly through the club; a clubhouse patio overlooking the Castle Rock valley is a noted amenity after a round. Troon North Golf Club's Pinnacle Course is located in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Sonoran Desert terrain near Pinnacle Peak, part of a 36-hole facility that also includes the Monument Course. Designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and opened in 1995, the Pinnacle plays across waste areas and sandy washes typical of desert golf, with the title 10th hole requiring a forced carry to a green set at the base of a small rocky rise. A tribute to Royal Troon's Postage Stamp appears at the par-3 16th, known as "Post Card." The Wilds Golf Club is located in Prior Lake, Minnesota, a short drive from the Twin Cities, set among ponderosa pines, hardwoods and wetlands with more than 150 feet of elevation change across the property. Water comes into play on nearly half the holes. The course was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and opened in the mid-1990s, routed in a figure-eight pattern around an adjoining residential development. The clubhouse takes design cues from Frank Lloyd Wright and overlooks the Minneapolis skyline. The Wilds is a public, daily-fee course with tee times available directly through the club. Bentgrass fairways and more than 70 bunkers are notable features of the layout.

San Antonio, TX

La Cantera Golf Club's Resort Course is located in San Antonio, Texas, on a property known for its elevation changes and views toward the Texas Hill Country. Sedona, AZ

Seven Canyons is a Tom Weiskopf design set in a box canyon amid Sedona's red rock formations, on roughly 200 acres bordered by national forest land. Weiskopf toured the property on horseback and produced the routing without formal drawings, aiming for a course that felt decades old. The par-71 layout, opened in April 2003, uses a core-golf concept with minimal adjacent development, small greens, narrow corridors, classic-style bunkering and notable elevation changes across its 6,858-yard championship tees. An earlier golf course had briefly operated on part of the site starting in 1961 before closing.

Greensboro, GA

Harbor Club Golf Course in Greensboro, Georgia is an 18-hole championship layout designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, opened in 1991.

Mount Pleasant, TX

Mount Pleasant Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Its front nine was built in 1939 by the Works Progress Administration to a Perry Maxwell design, with sand greens that were converted to grass in the 1950s. The back nine opened in 2002 with TifEagle bermuda greens. The course measures 6,412 yards from the back tees and wraps around a lake, with a lakeside clubhouse built in 1981. It runs as a semi-private club, so both members and outside golfers can arrange play.

Rockwall, TX

Buffalo Creek Golf Club is a semi-private, 18-hole, par-71 golf course in Rockwall, Texas, designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and opened in the summer of 1992.
