About this course
The Wilds Golf Club is located in Prior Lake, Minnesota, a short drive from the Twin Cities, set among ponderosa pines, hardwoods and wetlands with more than 150 feet of elevation change across the property. Water comes into play on nearly half the holes.
The course was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and opened in the mid-1990s, routed in a figure-eight pattern around an adjoining residential development. The clubhouse takes design cues from Frank Lloyd Wright and overlooks the Minneapolis skyline.
The Wilds is a public, daily-fee course with tee times available directly through the club. Bentgrass fairways and more than 70 bunkers are notable features of the layout.

The Meadows at Mystic Lake
Prior Lake, MN · 0.8 mi away
The Meadows at Mystic Lake is an 18-hole public course in Prior Lake, Minnesota, built on the site of the former Lone Pine Golf Course after the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community purchased the property in 2002. The course was completely remodeled by architects Garrett Gill and Paul Miller and reopened in 2005 as the golf complement to the adjacent Mystic Lake Casino. The redesign incorporated wetland preservation, storm water capture and native plantings alongside water features and statuary. Open to the public, the course plays as a resort-style layout with practice facilities and can be paired with lodging at the Mystic Lake casino hotel.
Stonebrooke Golf Club
Shakopee, MN · 3.2 mi away
Stonebrooke Golf Club is a public course in Shakopee, Minnesota, that opened in June 1989 as the city's first golf course. It was built by local homebuilders Gary and Randy Laurent, who still own the club. The course was designed by architect Tom Haugen and plays through rolling terrain with mature trees, ponds, and wetlands. A notable feature is the par-4 eighth hole, which requires a pontoon boat ride across Lake O'Dowd to reach the fairway. The par-71 layout measures roughly 6,475 yards from the back tees. Stonebrooke offers a driving range, multiple tee options, and is open to public play with tee times bookable online or by phone.
Legends Club
Prior Lake, MN · 7.0 mi away
Legends Club is an 18-hole daily-fee golf course straddling the border of Prior Lake and Lakeville, Minnesota, built on a wooded and marshy property with a 30-acre lake, creeks and wetlands. The course was designed by architect Garrett Gill of Gill Miller and stretches to roughly 7,100 yards from the back tees. Water comes into play on numerous holes, including a lake bordering the second green, and the routing is intended to reward careful course management over raw length. Managed by Tradition Golf as part of a small portfolio of Minnesota courses, Legends Club is open to public play with GPS-equipped carts.
