The Sun Mountain course is part of the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort, located about twenty-five minutes northwest of the Las Vegas Strip on Paiute tribal land. The course rolls across expansive desert terrain with a mountain backdrop and views of the Sheep Mountain range. Pete Dye designed Sun Mountain as one of three courses at the resort, and it is regarded by resort staff as a favorite for its conditioning and natural framing. Water comes into play on only a few holes; instead, strategically placed bunkers, including pot bunkers on the back nine, and undulating fairways that pitch toward their centers form the main defenses. The course is open to the public as part of the 54-hole Paiute facility, which also includes the Snow Mountain and Wolf courses. Sun Mountain plays to roughly 7,112 yards from the back tees at a par of 72.

Montrose, CO

The Bridges Golf & Country Club is located in Montrose, Colorado, on the state's Western Slope, roughly 65 miles from both Grand Junction and Telluride. The course, part of a residential community called The Bridges at Black Canyon, was designed by Nicklaus Design and opened for play in 2005. The gently rolling layout incorporates the historic Loutsenhizer Canal along with constructed lakes, marshes and streams, with water hazards affecting play on sixteen of the eighteen holes. Set at an elevation near 5,800 feet, the course offers views of the San Juan Mountains, Horsefly Mountain and Grand Mesa, and is planted with pine, spruce, ash and cottonwood trees. The club has operated as a semi-private facility, open to outside play with preferred access for members, and includes a large clubhouse with dining, locker rooms and meeting space.

Copper Mountain, CO

Copper Creek Golf Course is the golf facility at Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado's high country, set among the mountains of Summit County. The layout takes in views of the surrounding peaks and plays through terrain shaped by the resort's ski-area base. The course was designed by Pete Dye with Perry Dye, giving it the strategic bunkering and water features characteristic of Dye family designs, laid out over a relatively short but demanding routing. Copper Creek operates as a resort course open to the public as well as resort guests, and its season is tied to the mountain's short summer window, with occasional temporary hole closures for on-mountain work.

Denver, CO

Green Valley Ranch Golf Club is a public course in Denver, Colorado, situated between downtown Denver and Denver International Airport. Designed by Perry Dye and opened in 2001, the championship course stretches to 7,084 yards and incorporates the property's natural creeks, wetlands, and mature cottonwood trees into its routing rather than reshaping the land. Bunkers and water hazards come into play across the layout, with the Rocky Mountain front range visible from the course. Green Valley Ranch is open to the public and includes a separate nine-hole, par-3 course for shorter rounds, along with a full practice facility. The club has hosted the Colorado Open Championships and includes a bar and grill on site.

Las Vegas, NV

Desert Pines Golf Club is a public course east of downtown Las Vegas, built on the former Nature Park site off Bonanza Road. Golf course builder Billy Walters developed the course with architect Perry Dye, importing thousands of mature pine trees and using imported white sand to give the layout a Carolina sandhills look uncommon in the Las Vegas desert. The course opened in 1996 and sits at one of the lowest elevations of any course in the city, which helps shield it from strong winds. Water comes into play on roughly half the holes, and more than 60 bunkers, some framed with railroad ties in Pete Dye's signature style, protect the bentgrass greens. The current layout plays to a par of 71 over about 6,222 yards.

Wichita, KS

Auburn Hills Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal course in Wichita, Kansas, operated by the City of Wichita. Designed by Perry Dye and Joe T. Jemsek and opened in 2001, the par-72 layout stretches over 7,100 yards through wetlands, rolling hills and tight tree-lined corridors. The course has hosted USGA and Kansas Golf Association events, along with a Web.com Tour qualifier, reflecting its championship-caliber design.

Sacramento, CA

Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course sits along the Sacramento River in the Freeport area of Sacramento, California, and is the newest of the city's municipal golf courses. Architect Perry Dye designed the course, which opened in 1995 on a 96-acre site and is named for a former Sacramento city manager. The layout has a links-like character, with rolling, mounded terrain and moderately sized, undulating greens. It measures about 6,200 yards from the tips, with out-of-bounds along several fairways and water in play on seven of the 18 holes. The course is open to the public, with a pro shop and tee times bookable online or by phone.

Bonner Springs, KS

Sunflower Hills Golf Course is an 18-hole championship facility designed by Roger Packard and opened in 1977. The course measures over 7,000 yards from the back tees and features zoysia fairways, large rolling greens, and numerous water hazards. It is located near the Kansas Speedway and offers extensive practice facilities, including a 30-station driving range and one of the largest putting greens in the Midwest. The facility remains open year round for golfers of all skill levels.
