Sunset View Golf Course is a desert layout situated on the north side of Delta. It was established in 1986 to replace a course that was destroyed by flooding in 1983 [1](https://www.deseret.com/2009/7/30/20331662/sunset-view-golf-course/ #:~:text=The%20original%20course%20in%20Delta%20was%20designed%20by%20PGA%20legend%20Billy%20Casper%20...%20However%2C%20a%20flood%20in%201983%20literally%20wiped%20out%20the%20course). The original nine holes feature three lakes, while the newer back nine, added in 2002, offers more undulating greens and challenging holes [1](https://www.deseret.com/2009/7/30/20331662/sunset-view-golf-course/ #:~:text=This%20well%2Dkept%20desert%20course%20is%20quite%20flat%20with%20three%20lakes%20on%20the%20original%20nine).
