Oak Bluffs, MA

Farm Neck Golf Club sits on Martha's Vineyard in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts. Geoffrey Cornish, Bill Robinson and Patrick Mulligan laid out the 18-hole par 72, which opened in 1979 and plays to roughly 6,800 yards. The routing moves between stands of scrub oak and pine, open meadow and stretches of tidal marsh, with several holes looking out over Sengekontacket Pond and Nantucket Sound. Wind off the water is the main defence on an otherwise walkable, moderate-length layout, and the greens are small enough to make approach control matter. Farm Neck is semi-private in practice: limited public tee times are available outside peak member hours, so confirm access directly with the club.
