Golf courses in Lafayette, CO.

Lafayette, CO

Indian Peaks Golf Course is a municipal course in Lafayette, Colorado, a Denver-area suburb near Boulder, with the Indian Peaks section of the Continental Divide visible to the west. The course was designed by Hale Irwin with Dick Phelps and opened in 1993. The layout uses six lakes and two creeks across gently rolling terrain, with tree-lined fairways and six sets of tees ranging from under 5,000 yards to just over 7,000 yards, so the course can play short or long depending on the tee chosen. Greens are generally open in front and bunkering is used to frame rather than crowd the putting surfaces. Operated by the City of Lafayette, the course is open to the public daily, with a clubhouse, practice range, and short game area. The course hosts leagues and tournaments throughout the season.
