Keystone Ranch Golf Course
Keystone, CO
Keystone Ranch Golf Course occupies a high mountain valley at about 9,300 feet elevation within Keystone Resort in Keystone, Colorado. The 325-acre property was once a set of ranching homesteads dating to the early 1900s, and the original ranch house still stands as the Keystone Ranch clubhouse and restaurant. Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed the 18-hole course, which opened in 1980 and winds through lodgepole pines and sage meadows and around a nine-acre lake. It plays to a par of 72 with a back-tee yardage of about 7,090 yards, making it one of the longer and higher-elevation mountain courses in Colorado. The course operates as a resort facility for Keystone Resort guests and the public, with the River Course, designed by Hurdzan-Fry, located nearby to form a 36-hole complex.
