About this course
The University of Kentucky Wildcat Course is part of the 36-hole University Club of Kentucky in Lexington, situated among the rolling terrain of the Bluegrass region roughly seven miles northwest of downtown. The facility opened in 1992 and serves as the home course for the University of Kentucky men's and women's golf teams.
The Wildcat Course was renovated by architect Arthur Hills and plays through a parkland setting with creeks and ponds, offering four sets of tees from about 4,955 to 6,680 yards. Bentgrass covers the course from tee to green, and the layout is noted for its bunkering and green complexes that reward precise approach shots.
As a semi-private club licensed by the University of Kentucky, the Wildcat Course is open to members and cardholders through paid playing programs, with a clubhouse, driving range and two putting greens supporting practice before a round.
