The Springs Course at The House on the Rock Resort and Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 resort course in Spring Green, Wisconsin, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in the early 1970s. It was one of only two Wisconsin designs by Jones, who is credited with building or rebuilding more than 400 courses over his career. The layout runs along the Wisconsin River valley floor with narrow landing areas, heavy bunkering and water in play on nearly every hole. Holes 9 and 18 share a large double green in Spring Green.

Dodge Point Country Club

Dodge Point Country Club is located in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, in the state's rural Iowa County. The club has operated since 1947 and was originally designed by Homer Fieldhouse, with a nine-hole addition built in 2003. The course covers nearly 6,000 yards over eighteen holes with tree-lined fairways, water hazards, sand traps and bent-grass greens, set in an open countryside location described by the club as offering wide views with little traffic or noise. Ownership has changed hands periodically over the decades, most recently in 2026. Dodge Point is a semi-private club open to public play, with a full bar, snack service, junior and adult leagues, and practice facilities including a driving range and putting green.

Lake Wisconsin Country Club

Prairie du Sac, WI · 21 mi away

Lake Wisconsin Country Club is located in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin, on land adjacent to the Prairie du Sac hydroelectric dam along the Wisconsin River, about a 30-minute drive from Madison and the Wisconsin Dells. The club was chartered in October 1925 on land granted by the Wisconsin River Power Company, with members building the original greens and clubhouse themselves. Activity paused during World War II when the power company fenced off most of the course for security, then resumed in 1948. A second nine holes was added in 1964, and the course has seen several irrigation and course-improvement projects since, most recently around 2000. The club operates as a semi-private facility offering public green fees alongside its membership. The front nine plays across rolling hills while the back nine runs along the manmade Lake Wisconsin. It plays to a par of 70, with a longest yardage of about 5,881 yards.
