About this course
The Cove of Rotonda Golf Center is an 18-hole executive course on the Cape Haze Peninsula in southwest Florida, close to Port Charlotte, Englewood, Rotonda West, North Port and Venice. It measures 3,630 yards, with elevated greens, plenty of bunkering, continuous mounding and multiple tee sets.
The layout is built for pace and for practice rather than for a championship test, which makes it a useful stop on a Florida trip when time is short, and a genuine home course for local players working on their game. Signature Golf operates the facility.
Lights set it apart in this part of the state. The Cove is the only stadium-lighted golf course and aqua range between Port Charlotte and Englewood. Night golf runs November through April on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. From May through October the last tee time is 6 p.m. and you play until dark. Call the pro shop for the current schedule.
There is a practice facility with the lighted aqua range, and seasonal instruction from Gary Bower.
