The Lakemont Course at Stone Mountain Golf Club is located within Stone Mountain Park near Atlanta, Georgia, with views of the park's namesake granite monolith and adjoining Stone Mountain Lake. It is one of two 18-hole courses at the facility, alongside the Stonemont Course.
Lakemont was designed by Georgia architect John LaFoy and opened in the late 1980s. The front nine winds around the lake with water in play on several holes, while the back nine moves through rock outcroppings and additional water hazards, with dramatic elevation changes throughout.
Stone Mountain Golf Club is open to the public and operates year-round. The Lakemont Course plays to a par of 71, and golfers have access to shared practice facilities and a clubhouse known as the Commons.
