About this course

Skybrook Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Huntersville, North Carolina, within the Skybrook residential community in Mecklenburg County north of Charlotte. John LaFoy designed the course, which opened in 2000 across hilly terrain with elevation changes that range from gentle to dramatic.

The routing plays close to 7,000 yards from the championship tees at a par of 72, with five sets of tees offering shorter options for less experienced players. Bunker placement follows the natural contours of the land, and a large lake comes into play on the closing holes, while much of the rest of the course carries relatively little water.

Skybrook operates as a semi-private club, open to both members and the public, with a driving range and short-game practice area. Bermuda grass greens and clubhouse renovations were added under ownership that took over the club in 2019.
