About this course
Rockleigh Golf Course is a public golf facility at the base of the Palisades in Rockleigh, New Jersey, owned by Bergen County. The original Red and White nines were laid out by architect Alfred H. Tull in 1946, followed by Robert Trent Jones Sr.'s Blue nine in 1961, giving the site 27 holes across 264 acres. Architect Robert McNeil oversaw a 2004 renovation that added new tee boxes and bunkers and rebuilt several greens. The course sits on former Dutch farmland dating to the 18th century.

Sprain Lake Golf Course is a Westchester County-owned public course in Yonkers, New York, located on Grassy Sprain Road in a wooded, residential part of the county. Designed by golf course architect Tom Winton, Sprain Lake has small greens and rolling terrain, with a long, narrow routing that produces a mostly linear, back-and-forth style of play. Water hazards come into play on a number of holes, adding to the course's difficulty despite its modest length. The course is operated by Westchester County's golf division alongside several sister municipal courses and is open to public play. It measures 6,110 yards from the back tees at a par of 70 over 18 holes.
