About this course
TPC Las Colinas is the tournament course at the resort in Irving, designed by Jay Morrish with input from Byron Nelson and Ben Crenshaw and opened in 1982. It winds through wooded, gently rolling parkland along a creek corridor in the Dallas suburbs, playing to a par of 70 at 7,166 yards. The course was the permanent home of the PGA Tour's Byron Nelson from 1983 through 2017, the longest single-venue run of any event in the tour's modern era. Weibring-Wolfard Golf Design carried out a renovation during that tenure. Tree-lined corridors and water make it a shotmaker's course rather than a wide resort layout.

Bear Creek Golf Club sits near DFW International Airport in Dallas, Texas, and offers two 18-hole layouts, the East and West courses, both designed by Ted Robinson. The courses wind through mature oak groves with water features worked into the natural terrain, and Bermuda fairways lead to greens guarded by bunkers. The club is open to the public for tee times and has hosted PGA Tour qualifying rounds, the Texas State Open and AJGA events. Facilities include a golf shop, practice areas, a restaurant and an outdoor dining area called The Backyard. The course is open seven days a week from sunrise to sunset, closed on Christmas Day.
Cowboys Golf Club
Grapevine, TX · 8.4 mi away
Cowboys Golf Club sits in Grapevine, Texas, and is billed as the world's only golf course created in partnership with an NFL franchise, the Dallas Cowboys. The clubhouse displays the team's Super Bowl trophies, and markers along the course note moments from franchise history. Architect Jeff Brauer designed the original 18-hole layout, which opened in June 2001 on rolling, wooded terrain northwest of Dallas. Ownership passed through several companies over the years before Arcis Golf carried out a multi-million-dollar renovation, working with architect Beau Welling to rebuild tees, greens and bunkers. The public course plays to a par of 72 across 18 holes, with a practice facility that includes an 18-hole putting course and hitting turf sourced from the Cowboys' home stadium. It continues to host corporate outings and charity tournaments alongside daily public play.
