The course was built in 1969, originally opened as Dama Farms golf course, and was purchased and renamed Hawk Meadows around 2000. It plays as a full 18 holes with four sets of tees ranging from about 5,000 to 6,400 yards, offering a layout that is walkable and generally forgiving for higher-handicap players while still testing lower-handicap golfers on several holes. The club is open to public play daily from morning to dusk and includes a practice facility with grass tees for the driving range.
