About this course

The Blue Course at Eisenhower Golf Club sits on the grounds of the United States Air Force Academy just north of Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1959, and remains the only original Jones Sr. design in the state.

The course winds through ponderosa pine with views of the surrounding Rockies and has hosted college and military tournaments over the years. A second course on the property, the Silver, was added later and designed by Frank Hummel.

Because the club sits on an active military installation, play is limited to Department of Defense ID cardholders and their guests; the general public cannot book tee times directly. The Blue course plays to a par of 72 at more than 7,500 yards from the back tees.

Patty Jewett Golf Course occupies a site on the north side of Colorado Springs, with views of Pikes Peak and mature trees lining its entrance drive. The property has been in continuous use as a golf course since 1898, making it one of the oldest operating courses west of the Mississippi River. The course began as a private club before William K. The property has since grown to 27 holes. Owned and operated by the city, Patty Jewett is open to all golfers. The 18-hole course plays to a par of 72, and a separate 9-hole course is also available. Amenities include a full-service golf shop, a practice range with putting green and short-game area, and an on-site restaurant.
