Diamond Hawk Golf Course occupies former railroad land in Cheektowaga, New York, close to Buffalo Niagara International Airport. Designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan and William Kerman of the Hurdzan-Fry firm, the course opened in 2006 and offers links-style shot values with few forced carries, favoring bump-and-run approaches even to its elevated greens.
The layout plays 7,058 yards from the championship tees at a par of 72, threading through housing, a municipal park and protected wetlands that come into play on the closing holes. Five sets of tees allow a wide range of playing lengths.
Diamond Hawk is a public daily-fee course with a clubhouse restaurant and bar, open to walk-up and advance-booked play.
