Deacon's Lodge is an Arnold Palmer design at Breezy Point Resort in the Brainerd Lakes area of Minnesota. It opened in 1999 and is named for Palmer's father, Milfred "Deacon" Palmer.
The course is routed across 500 acres of forest, wetland and lake shoreline. Palmer used the natural contours of the land rather than heavy earthmoving, so fairways bend around stands of pine and hardwood and greens sit close to the water in places. Bentgrass covers the tees, fairways and greens, and the back nine carries the harder holes on the card.
