About this course

Blacklick Woods Golf Course is a public course within Blacklick Woods Metro Park in Reynoldsburg, near Columbus, Ohio. The surrounding park was the first in the Columbus and Franklin County Metropolitan Park District, opening in 1948, though the golf course itself came decades later.

The 18-hole Championship Course was designed by architect Jack Kidwell and opened in 1973. It plays through tree-lined fairways typical of the region's parkland courses, alongside a separate nine-hole Learning Course aimed at beginners.

The facility is open to the public and includes a full driving range and large practice green. Part of the property carries Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary certification for its wildlife habitat management.
