Cliffhangers is a par-3 course at Big Cedar Lodge, the Bass Pro Shops-owned resort near Branson in the Missouri Ozarks. It sits on a steep hillside next to the Payne's Valley course, with holes cut into limestone cliffs above creeks and waterfalls. Created by Johnny Morris and his son John Paul Morris, it opened in 2025 as the resort's sixth course. The layout plays 18 holes ranging from about 60 to 170 yards, with dramatic elevation changes and small greens; one hole is played from a cave behind a waterfall. It is built for short irons and wedges rather than length. Cliffhangers is part of a resort, open to registered guests and the visiting public, with cart, range balls and water included in the rate. It complements Big Cedar's other five courses and is walkable only in limited sections due to terrain.

It was the first Woods design in the United States built for public play, and it is named for Payne Stewart, the Missouri-born major champion. The course is wide and playable by design, with generous fairways, few forced carries and large greens meant to accommodate a broad range of players. It runs through Ozark valley floor and limestone bluff, with rock walls framing several holes. After the 18th, players continue to a bonus 19th hole set in a natural rock amphitheater with a waterfall behind the green. The course hosted an exhibition match at its opening and is open to resort guests.

Buffalo Ridge at Big Cedar Lodge in Hollister, Missouri, began as the Branson Creek course in 1999 and was rebuilt by Tom Fazio, reopening in the 2010s under its current name. Fairways move with the terrain, several tees are set high above the landing areas, and the greens are firm with substantial contour.
