Top of the Rock is a nine-hole, par-3 Jack Nicklaus design set high above Table Rock Lake at Big Cedar Lodge. The compact routing moves among exposed limestone, waterfalls, lakes and Ozark views, with several holes stretching beyond the pitch-and-putt range. It became the first par-3 course used in a PGA Tour Champions event. Buffalo Bar sits below Osage Restaurant at Top of the Rock and opens onto a patio with Ozark Mountain views. The course was designed by Ault-Clark and Associates and opened in 1986, and it is generally regarded as the first championship-style course built in the Branson area. Bermuda fairways and bentgrass greens make up the eighteen-hole layout, which plays about 6,515 yards from the back tees at a par of 70. Water comes into play on a majority of holes, and the course is open to public play with cart rental, a pro shop and a restaurant on site.

Payne's Valley at Big Cedar Lodge in Hollister, Missouri, opened in 2020 and was designed by Tiger Woods and his TGR Design team. It was the first Woods design in the United States built for public play, and it is named for Payne Stewart, the Missouri-born major champion. The course is wide and playable by design, with generous fairways, few forced carries and large greens meant to accommodate a broad range of players. It runs through Ozark valley floor and limestone bluff, with rock walls framing several holes. After the 18th, players continue to a bonus 19th hole set in a natural rock amphitheater with a waterfall behind the green. The course hosted an exhibition match at its opening and is open to resort guests.
