About this course

The Bandit Golf Club is located along Long Creek near Lake McQueeney outside New Braunfels, Texas, in the Hill Country roughly 30 minutes from downtown San Antonio. The course sits within a housing subdivision, but homes are sparse along the fairways, leaving a secluded, natural feel with deer and hawks common sights.

The course was designed by architect Keith Foster and opened in 1997. It uses the area's significant elevation changes and natural water hazards to create a hilly test that stands out from the flatter courses typical of much of Texas.

The Bandit is open to public play and offers stay-and-play packages through its on-site lodges. Practice facilities include a large putting green as part of an expanded practice area, and the par-71 course plays to nearly 6,930 yards from the back tees.
