SunRidge Canyon Golf Club is a public course in Fountain Hills, Arizona, set among ridges and canyons in the desert terrain between Fountain Hills and Scottsdale. It was designed by Keith Foster and opened in 1995. The par-71 course plays 7,002 yards from the back tees and descends through the property before climbing back up on the return nine. Elevation changes, natural washes, and stacked sod bunkers appear throughout, and the closing run of holes 13 through 18 is known locally as the Wicked Six. SunRidge Canyon is open to public play, includes a bar and grill, and has hosted the 2014 PGA Club Professional Championship of Canada and the 1997 USGA Men's State Team Championship.

Dandridge, TN

Dandridge Golf & Country Club has 27 holes designed by Dan Maples. It is one of the region's older courses. Maples' design emphasizes accuracy and strategy. The course moves through valleys, hills, and woodlands, with views of the Great Smoky Mountains and Douglas Lake. Bermuda fairways and bent grass greens are used. The 27 holes are three distinct nines, allowing for different 18-hole combinations. Elevated tees offer panoramic views, especially those overlooking Douglas Lake. Teeing options range from 4,900 to 6,100 yards. Southern Living Travel Guide recognized it as a top golf destination in the South.

San Antonio, TX

The Quarry Golf Club sits on the site of a former limestone quarry just north of downtown San Antonio, Texas, once known as Cementville. The course opened in 1993, about a decade after the quarry itself closed. Architect Keith Foster designed the layout across roughly 86 acres, with a front nine of rolling terrain and small ponds separated by a street from a back nine that drops into the old quarry pit itself, including a hole that requires a carry over a quarry wall. The course plays to a par of 71 at 6,740 yards from the back tees. The Quarry is open to public play daily, with a pro shop and a restaurant overlooking the back nine, and it sits within a mixed residential and retail development built around the course.

Madison, IL

Gateway National Golf Links is a links-style public golf course in Madison, Illinois, within view of the Gateway Arch across the Mississippi River from downtown St. Louis. Rolling fairways separated by mounding move through former pastureland, with tall grasses, lakes, wood-tie bunkers, and stone bridges. The course was designed by architect Keith Foster and opened in 1999. It is noted for having bentgrass fairways, a rarity among public courses in the St. Louis region. Gateway National is open to the public with cart fees included in green fees, and walking is permitted at any time. The clubhouse offers dining with views of the course, and the facility hosts corporate and charity golf outings.

Washington, UT

Coral Canyon Golf Course sits on rolling benchland above the town of Washington, Utah, near St. George, with views toward Zion National Park and the red-rock country of the region. Keith Foster designed the course, which opened in 2000 across roughly 80 acres of turf cut into the high-desert terrain. Foster's routing follows the natural contours of the land rather than reshaping it heavily, using elevation change and green complexes to create difficulty instead of relying on length alone. Dozens of bunkers and two lakes are placed to affect strategy rather than simply for appearance. The par-3 sixth, ringed by bunkers and water, is the hole most remember. The course is open to the public and plays to a par of 72 from four sets of tees, with the back tees stretching past 7,000 yards. A soft-spike, collared-shirt dress code applies, and the facility has hosted regional tournaments.

New Braunfels, TX

The Bandit Golf Club is located along Long Creek near Lake McQueeney outside New Braunfels, Texas, in the Hill Country roughly 30 minutes from downtown San Antonio. The course sits within a housing subdivision, but homes are sparse along the fairways, leaving a secluded, natural feel with deer and hawks common sights. The course was designed by architect Keith Foster and opened in 1997. It uses the area's significant elevation changes and natural water hazards to create a hilly test that stands out from the flatter courses typical of much of Texas. The Bandit is open to public play and offers stay-and-play packages through its on-site lodges. Practice facilities include a large putting green as part of an expanded practice area, and the par-71 course plays to nearly 6,930 yards from the back tees.

North Salt Lake, UT

Eaglewood Golf Course sits in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains above North Salt Lake, Utah, with views across the Great Salt Lake. The public course opened in 1994. It was designed by architect Keith R. Foster. The hillside routing brings elevated tee shots into sloping fairways, narrow landing areas, and undulating, often two-tiered greens that can play tricky even at reduced speed. From the back tees the course measures 6,772 yards at a par of 71. A cart is recommended given the terrain, and the facility includes a driving range built as a dogleg so players can practice fade shots before their round.

Sparks, NV

D'Andrea Golf Club is a semi-private course in Sparks designed by Keith Foster that opened in 2000. Originally built as an 18-hole layout, it now operates as a 9-hole, par-36 course of roughly 3,541 yards after a restoration. The course climbs and descends desert hillsides in the Reno-Sparks foothills, offering views of the Sierra Nevada range. It remains open to outside play alongside its semi-private membership.

Humble, TX

The Member Course at Golf Club of Houston is a private 18-hole, par-72 course in Humble, Texas, designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy and opened in 2002 as Redstone Golf Club. It measures 7,508 yards from the back tees, with native wetlands and well-placed bunkers. It hosted the Shell Houston Open in 2003, 2004 and 2005 before the event moved to the club's Tournament Course. Escalante Golf bought the property in 2013 and renamed it Golf Club of Houston. The Member Course is reserved for members and their guests.

Sun Lakes, AZ

Oakwood is a 27-hole golf facility within the IronOaks at Sun Lakes community in Sun Lakes, Arizona, made up of three nine-hole courses named Palms, Lakes and Sonoran. The nines were designed by Keith Foster with a later renovation by Forest Richardson, mixing parkland, traditional links-style, and water-oriented routings. The Lakes nine circles around eight water features, Palms plays through a more park-like setting, and Sonoran combines parkland and links-style stretches. The three nines can be paired for fast 18-hole rounds. Oakwood sits alongside the separate Ironwood course as part of the IronOaks community's 45 total holes, and operates on a semi-private basis tied to the surrounding residential community, with a pro shop and dining facilities on site.

Covington, WA

Druids Glen Golf Club is a Keith Foster design carved out of 230 acres of second-growth forest 30 miles southeast of downtown Seattle, draped in the shadow of Mount Rainier. The 7,146-yard upscale public course features sculpted bent-grass tee-to-green, over 60 bunkers, and has been named one of the 10 most difficult courses in the Pacific Northwest. Owner Parks Legacy Project has engaged Forrest Richardson and Jeff Danner for ongoing improvements. An already excellent course that continues to improve.

Spring, TX

Cypresswood Golf Club features the 18-hole Tradition Course which plays to a par of 72 in Spring, Texas. This public course was designed by architect Keith Foster and opened in 1997 as part of a 36-hole complex. The facility is situated on more than 600 acres of rolling terrain along the confluence of Spring and Cypress creeks. The Tradition Course is heavily wooded and incorporates the natural beauty of the land into its layout. It features large greens that are known for their speed and strategically placed bunkers that defend the fairways. The design moves through a dense forest of oak and pine trees, providing a secluded atmosphere. The course has hosted professional qualifying events and offers a variety of shot options for all players.

Zion, IL

Shepherd's Crook is a Zion Park District course designed by Keith Foster that opened in August 1999. It is a links-style, par-71 course of up to 6,771 yards, with bentgrass fairways, tees and greens and a nod to 1920s and 1930s design. Walking is encouraged, and the clubhouse grill overlooks the 9th and 18th holes.

Deming, NM

Deming residents play at Rio Mimbres Golf Course, which opened in 1950. Designed by Keith Foster, the 18-hole regulation course spans 6,700 yards with wide fairways and Bermuda grass greens. The facility includes a driving range and a full-service clubhouse with a restaurant and bar known as The 19th Hole. It offers a challenging experience for all skill levels.

Established in 1950 and designed by Keith Foster, the course features wide-open Bermuda grass fairways and scenic views. The layout measures approximately 6,700 yards from the back tees with a slope rating of 123. A clubhouse restaurant and bar are available for guests after their round.

Lehi, UT

TalonsCove Golf Course is a public course in Lehi, a Gene Bates design on the shore of Utah Lake. The 18-hole links-style layout plays over open, windswept terrain with lake and mountain views, one of the better public courses in Utah County.
