About this course
Arrowhead Golf Club is located on about 164 acres of former farmland in Akron, New York, near Buffalo. Scott Witter designed the course, with the first nine holes opening in the fall of 2003 as part of a renovation and expansion project.
The 18-hole layout plays to a par of 72, with four sets of tees and more than 60 sand bunkers, plus six man-made ponds and wetland areas that bring links-style wind and water into play. It served as a qualifying site for the 2005 U.S. Senior Open.
Arrowhead operates as a public course with a pro shop, driving range and practice areas, and hosts leagues, outings and tournaments throughout the season.
