Santa Ana Golf Club is a golf course on Santa Ana Pueblo land north of Albuquerque, New Mexico, situated along the Rio Grande beneath the Sandia Mountains. The course was designed by Ken Killian in collaboration with a former PGA Tour professional and is operated as part of the My New Mexico Golf collection, alongside the neighboring Twin Warriors Golf Club. Nekoosa, WI

Lake Arrowhead is a 36-hole golf facility in Nekoosa, Wisconsin, located in the sandy, pine-forested central part of the state, about 35 miles north of Wisconsin Dells. The two eighteen-hole courses, Lakes and Pines, wind through mature oaks and Norway pines within a 2,500-acre member-owned development. Ken Killian and Dick Nugent designed both courses; the Pines course opened in 1984 as one of the developments that helped establish central Wisconsin as a golf destination, alongside SentryWorld and Lawsonia. Both courses feature bent grass fairways, tees and greens, sculpted bunkers, sand waste areas and large contoured greens. The facility operates as a public/semi-private club tied to residential development, with members holding preferred tee times and outside play available; the Lakes course plays to roughly 7,105 yards at a par of 72.

Mundelein, IL

Steeple Chase Golf Club is a municipal course owned and operated by the Mundelein Park District in Mundelein, Illinois, set across roughly 200 acres of natural hills, lakes, woods, and wetlands. It is one of several golf courses in the Mundelein area. The course was designed by architect Ken Killian and opened in 1993. The layout is known for its scenic variety and challenging greens, including a double-dogleg par-5 18th hole that plays around 540 yards from the back tees. Steeple Chase is open to the public, offering tee times up to two weeks in advance along with twilight and senior rate discounts. The club provides golf lessons through PGA staff, year-round golf simulators, and standard practice facilities for warming up before a round.

Reedsburg, WI

Reedsburg Country Club is located on East Main Street in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, in Sauk County, a short drive from Wisconsin Dells and Baraboo. The course sits in a wooded, north-country setting despite its in-town address. The club traces its origin to 1924, when the first nine holes were built; architects Killian and Nugent expanded the layout to eighteen holes in 1977, and three of the original holes remain part of the routing. Today the course plays 6,426 yards at a par of 72, with tree-lined fairways, bentgrass greens and a mix of older and newer hole designs. Both members and the public may play, and the clubhouse hosts dining and banquet events.

Fort Mill, SC

Carolina Lakes is an upscale daily-fee course set between the Catawba River and stands of pine, maple and oak, a few minutes south of Charlotte's Ballantyne area. Tim Freeland designed the par-72 layout, which stretches to about 7,000 yards with streams, ponds and several changes in elevation. A family tee setting turns it into a par-55 executive course, with 17 par 3s and one par 4.

Oak Forest, IL

George W. Dunne National is an 18-hole course in Oak Forest, IL, managed by Forest Preserve Golf. It has bentgrass fairways and greens, and eight lakes come into play on eleven holes. There is a lighted driving range and practice facility, a pro shop and a restaurant.

Deerbrook, WI

Bass Lake Golf Club is a public course carved out of the Northwoods of Wisconsin in Deerbrook, established in 1926. The 18-hole layout measures 6,308 yards from its back tees and offers six sets of tees, including a junior option, so it can suit a wide range of players. Precision matters more than length here, with bunkers, water hazards, dense woods and environmental areas coming into play against undulating greens. The course also operates a supper club and 19th-hole bar on site, and while it offers memberships, the public is welcome to book tee times. Weekly fish fry dinners and grab-and-go food are available for golfers heading out for a round.

New Buffalo, MI

Whittaker Woods Golf Club, also marketed as the Woodlands Course at Whittaker, is an 18-hole public course in New Buffalo, Michigan, in the Harbor Country area of the state's southwest corner near the Indiana line. It was built through woods and wetlands by owners Dan and Mary O'Brien and opened in 1996, designed by architect Ken Killian. The course plays as long as about 7,072 yards from the back tees down to under 5,000 yards from the forward tees across five tee placements. The front nine is narrow and wooded with doglegs, while the back nine opens up but adds its own challenges, with water, bunkering and undulating greens throughout. The facility includes a stone-and-timber clubhouse, driving range, and short-game practice areas, and golf attire is required on the course.

Elkridge, MD

The Timbers at Troy in Elkridge opened in 1996 as Howard County's first publicly owned golf course. Ken Killian, a past president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, designed the par-72 layout, which plays to 6,652 yards through rolling fairways, mature trees, and several streams. It has bentgrass tees, fairways, and greens, which are rare at a public course in the Baltimore area.

Lake Forest, IL

Deerpath is Lake Forest's municipal course, owned by the city and run by KemperSports. Alex Pirie laid it out in 1927 on rolling, wooded ground; Ken Killian and Dick Nugent redesigned it in 1971 and again in 1981. It plays par 70 at 6,245 yards, with ponds and streams in play and mature trees throughout. A $1.1 million drainage and irrigation project started in September 2017. The season runs March into mid-December.

Harvard, IL

Oak Grove Golf Course in Harvard, IL, is an Audubon certified sanctuary with bentgrass fairways and rolling greens among wetlands and mature trees. Five sets of tees stretch the course from just over 5,200 yards to more than 7,000.
