Reedsburg Country Club is located on East Main Street in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, in Sauk County, a short drive from Wisconsin Dells and Baraboo. The club traces its origin to 1924, when the first nine holes were built; architects Killian and Nugent expanded the layout to eighteen holes in 1977, and three of the original holes remain part of the routing. Fort Mill, SC

Carolina Lakes is an upscale daily-fee course set between the Catawba River and stands of pine, maple and oak, a few minutes south of Charlotte's Ballantyne area. Tim Freeland designed the par-72 layout, which stretches to about 7,000 yards with streams, ponds and several changes in elevation. A family tee setting turns it into a par-55 executive course, with 17 par 3s and one par 4.

Rockford, IL

Aldeen Golf Club is a public course in Rockford, Illinois, operated by the Rockford Park District as its fifth municipal course. It opened on July 26, 1991, funded in part by a gift from Norris and Margaret Aldeen, and was designed by the firm of Dick Nugent and Associates with construction beginning in 1989. The 18-hole layout covers 7,131 yards with 62 sand bunkers, including three beach-style bunkers, and water hazards on 12 holes across four sets of tees; the par-3 eighth hole features an island green and is considered the signature hole. A 26-acre practice center with a driving range and large putting green sits alongside the course. Aldeen also includes the Alchemy restaurant and an event pavilion overlooking the eighteenth green.

Willow Crest Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course in Oak Brook, Illinois, designed by architect Dick Nugent. Seven Bridges Golf Club sits along the East Branch of the DuPage River in Woodridge, Illinois, on part of the site once occupied by the Woodridge Golf Club, a public course that dated to 1926. The Village of Woodridge developed Seven Bridges as part of a larger community redevelopment plan, hiring architect Dick Nugent to design a new 18-hole course; it opened on July 1, 1991. The river winds through the property and requires golfers to cross it repeatedly, giving the course its name, with water coming into play on roughly half the holes. Seven Bridges operates as a daily-fee public course owned by the village, with a restaurant and banquet facilities on site alongside golf.

Delavan, WI

Majestic Oaks Golf Course is the 18-hole course at Lake Lawn Resort on Delavan Lake in Delavan, Wisconsin, near the Lake Geneva area of southeastern Wisconsin. The course first opened in 1921 and was redesigned in 1990 by architect Dick Nugent, who reworked bunkering and contours while keeping many of the mature oak trees that shape the property. The layout plays to a par of 71 at about 6,400 yards from the back tees, with multiple tee boxes for different skill levels. Bloomingdale Golf Club is an 18-hole public golf course in Bloomingdale, IL, operating since 1924. Originally designed by Tom Bendelow and redesigned by Lohmann Golf Design, the par-71 course plays just over 6,100 yards. Rolling Meadows Golf Course is a 27-hole public golf facility in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. An 18-hole course designed by superintendent Allan J. Kress opened in 1972, and architect Dick Nugent led a redesign and expansion that opened in 1996, changing all but three of the original holes and adding a third nine. The course rolls across prairie grass, woods, water and a 10-acre wetland, with six sets of tees serving golfers of every level. Rolling Meadows has hosted Wisconsin state tournaments in Fond du Lac.

Lake Forest, IL

Deerpath is Lake Forest's municipal course, owned by the city and run by KemperSports. Alex Pirie laid it out in 1927 on rolling, wooded ground; Ken Killian and Dick Nugent redesigned it in 1971 and again in 1981. It plays par 70 at 6,245 yards, with ponds and streams in play and mature trees throughout. A $1.1 million drainage and irrigation project started in September 2017. The season runs March into mid-December.

Robinson, IL

Quail Creek Country Club and Resort is in Robinson, Illinois. It has an 18-hole course and a driving range, plus a 34-unit resort, banquet rooms, a restaurant, a pool, tennis, racquetball and lake fishing. Richard J. Heath led an expansion starting in 1962 that built out the course and resort.

Harvard, IL

Oak Grove Golf Course in Harvard, IL, is an Audubon certified sanctuary with bentgrass fairways and rolling greens among wetlands and mature trees. Five sets of tees stretch the course from just over 5,200 yards to more than 7,000.

Lake Villa, IL

Fox Lake Country Club is an 18-hole public course in the Village of Fox Lake, Illinois, near the Chain O' Lakes and the Wisconsin border. The Petrungaro family owns the course, which has banquet and grill service. Leagues run from April to September, and there is a small practice area for putting and chipping.

Winfield, IL

Klein Creek is a Dick Nugent design that opened in Winfield in 1994. It plays par 72 at 6,701 yards from the back tees, rated 72.8 with a slope in the high 130s, so it asks for accurate iron play rather than length. The routing moves through open prairie ground with wetland and creek edges rather than heavy tree lines. It is daily-fee, open to the public.

Bull Valley Golf Club is a private course in Woodstock, Illinois, about 50 miles northwest of Chicago. It was designed by Dick Nugent and opened in 1989 on a former dairy farm shaped by glacial terrain, including a 12th tee that sits atop a moraine roughly 1,000 feet high. The property combines heavily wooded corridors with prairie and wetland areas, and the club emphasizes preservation of highland fen meadow and lowland wet prairie habitats. The par-72 course plays 7,319 yards from the back tees, known as the Tip of the Horn, with a course rating of 77.2 and slope of 151, making it one of the more demanding courses in the region. Conditioning and turf quality are consistently maintained. The club is private and owned by the Rabine Group, with access limited to members and their guests.
