Ludlow, VT

Fox Run Golf Club, formerly known as Okemo Valley Golf Club, is a public course in Ludlow, Vermont, on a former dairy farm property near Okemo Mountain. The current 18-hole layout was designed by architect Steve Durkee and opened in stages beginning in 1999, replacing an earlier nine-hole course built in 1969. Described as New England's only heathland-style course, the par-70 layout runs uphill through the property with sculpted bentgrass greens, tees, and fairways framed by trees and native grasses, set against the backdrop of the Green Mountains. It has hosted Vermont and New England PGA Section events over the years. Ownership passed from Okemo Mountain Resort to Vail Resorts and then, in 2021, to Fox Run Properties, which restored the club's original name and has since renovated greens, added forward tees, and rebuilt bunkers. The course operates as public, with an indoor training center and restaurant on site.
