Caribou, ME

Caribou Country Club sits about three miles north of downtown Caribou, Maine, on land once known as the Cyrus Maxwell farm. Geoffrey Cornish, assisted by Bill Robinson, designed the course in the early 1970s, though only nine of the originally planned 18 holes were built due to funding running out during construction. The nine-hole course measures 3,206 yards with tree-lined, rolling fairways typical of the Aroostook County countryside. It is a semi-private club that hosts the Cary Classic tournament and offers memberships along with public play. Men's and ladies' twilight leagues run through the season, and the club maintains reciprocal arrangements with other courses in Maine and Atlantic Canada.
