Samoset Resort Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-70 resort course in Rockport, Maine, on Penobscot Bay, with ocean views from 14 of its 18 holes. Originally built as a nine-hole course in 1902, it was rebuilt into a full 18-hole layout by architect Robert Elder in 1974, with later work by Geoffrey Cornish in the early 1990s and Bradley Booth in 2000, including a rebuilt, seawall-lined par-5 4th hole. The course plays 6,548 yards from the back tees with a course rating of 70.8 and a slope of 133.
