About this course
Wilmette Golf Club opened in 1922 as Playmore Golf Club, a pay-as-you-play course on a former dairy farm. Co-owner Joseph Roseman, who also invented turf equipment, designed it. It became the Wilmette Golf Club in 1924 and is now a public course open for daily tee times.
