The Jewel is Grand Hotel's 18-hole, par-67 resort course on Mackinac Island, Michigan, open to hotel guests and the public. The Grand nine, across the street from the hotel with views of the Straits of Mackinac, was built in 1901 and redesigned in 1987 by architect Jerry Matthews, who also designed the Woods nine in the interior of the island in 1994. The two nines sit about a mile and a half apart, and players ride a horse-drawn carriage between them, the only such transfer between nines at a course in the United States. From the blue tees the course plays 5,445 yards with a 65.7 rating and 116 slope.

Les Cheneaux Golf Links dates to 1898, when the Les Cheneaux Islands region of Michigan's Upper Peninsula was one of the great summer resort destinations of the Midwest. The course has been part of the islands' summer rhythm ever since. The layout is club-owned but open to the public, playing through quiet northern ground a short distance from the channels and boathouses of Cedarville. More than 125 years on, it remains one of the oldest courses in Michigan and a rare survivor from the era when northern lake resorts first put down golf courses for their summer guests.

Chestnut Valley Golf Course is an 18 hole semi-private facility in Harbor Springs, Michigan. The course was designed by Larry Mancour and opened in 1994. It plays to a par of 72. The course is named after a rare American Chestnut Tree that stood on the property for over a century. A carved statue made from the original trunk is located between holes 10 and 11. The front nine is carved through hardwood forest and plays tighter than the more open back nine.
