About this course
Les Cheneaux Golf Links dates to 1898, when the Les Cheneaux Islands region of Michigan's Upper Peninsula was one of the great summer resort destinations of the Midwest. The course has been part of the islands' summer rhythm ever since.
The layout is club-owned but open to the public, playing through quiet northern ground a short distance from the channels and boathouses of Cedarville.
More than 125 years on, it remains one of the oldest courses in Michigan and a rare survivor from the era when northern lake resorts first put down golf courses for their summer guests.
