About this course
Waldorf Astoria Golf Club sits within the Bonnet Creek nature preserve near Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and opened in 2009 as the centerpiece of the Waldorf Astoria Orlando resort. The course was designed by Rees Jones with co-designer Steve Weisser, using elevated greens and large bunkers to add character to relatively flat, wetland-cleared terrain. Notable holes include a Biarritz-style par 3. Rees Jones, Inc. returned in 2022 to renovate the layout, expanding playing corridors and restoring green and bunker sizes, with the back nine work completed in 2022. The course is open to resort guests and the public with a five-tee system for varying skill levels.

Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course
Lake Buena Vista, FL · 2.4 mi away
Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is an 18-hole resort course at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Designed by Joe Lee, with additional work by Rocky Roquemore, the course opened in 1972, one year after the Magnolia and Palm courses. It plays to a par of 72 and measures roughly 6,700 yards from the back tees, winding through dense pine forests, palmettos and the villas of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort. Narrow fairways, bermuda rough and small, well-bunkered greens make it a tighter test than its length suggests, highlighted by an island green on the par-3 16th. Joe Lee returned in 1994 to rebuild the greens across the course. The course is open to resort guests and the public, with practice facilities and instruction available for golfers of all levels.

The Links Course at Grand Cypress Golf Club, formerly known as the New Course, is an 18-hole, par-72 layout at the Evermore Resort near Walt Disney World in Orlando. It opened in 1988 as a Jack Nicklaus design built as a tribute to the Old Course at St Andrews, with double greens, pot bunkers, a recreated Swilcan Bridge, and a burn. The layout favors firm ground and wide fairways over the elevated mounding typical of Florida resort courses. From the back tees it plays 6,773 yards with a course rating of 71.9 and a slope of 121.
