About this course
Trout Lake Golf Club, established in 1924, is one of the oldest 18-hole golf facilities in Wisconsin's Northwoods, located near Woodruff in Arbor Vitae. The back nine was completed in 1926, and the clubhouse is a converted 1880s logging home that has been restored over the years, including its fireplace and screened porch overlooking the 18th fairway.
The course is open to public play as a daily-fee facility, with a large practice area featuring a 325-yard range and extensive putting and chipping greens. Recent renovations have updated the course and its tee complexes, including a new forward tee on the 12th hole and restoration of a century-old silo on the grounds.
