About this course
Trosper Golf Club is an 18-hole public course in southeast Oklahoma City, part of the city's municipal golf system. It opened in 1954 and underwent a redesign by Randy Heckenkemper in 2001, along with a bunker renovation completed in 2018.
The course is heavily wooded with a small creek running through the layout, wide landing areas and large greens, and minimal water hazards compared with other city courses. It plays to about 6,601 yards from the back tees and is known locally as one of the faster-playing courses in Oklahoma City.
Trosper is public and city-operated, with a restaurant, pro shop and practice facilities.

The North Course is one of two 18-hole layouts at Lake Hefner Golf Club in northwest Oklahoma City, situated along the shore of Lake Hefner. The club also includes a South Course, a three-hole academy course and a driving range. Designed by Randy Heckenkemper, the North Course stretches to nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees with bunkered fairways and greens and water hazards throughout, making it the more demanding of the two courses at the facility. Lake Hefner is a public, city-owned course run through Oklahoma City's golf division, with a clubhouse, restaurant and pro shop.
Lincoln Park Golf Course (West)
Oklahoma City, OK · 5.3 mi away
Lincoln Park Golf Course (West) is a municipal course operated by the City of Oklahoma City on the city's northeast side. The Lincoln Park complex opened in 1922, making it one of the oldest public golf facilities in Oklahoma, and multiple accounts credit architect Perry Maxwell with remodeling the greens on its courses. Now a two-course facility, Lincoln Park marked its 100th anniversary in 2022. The West Course remains a heavily played public layout within the historic complex.
