About this course
Triggs Memorial Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 municipal course in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island, owned by the city's Parks Department. Designed by Donald Ross, it was built on the former Obadiah Brown Farm and opened in 1932-1933, making it the only public Ross design in Rhode Island.
Golf.com has ranked Triggs among the top 14 municipal courses in the United States, and Golf Magazine has listed it among the best municipal courses in America. FCG Associates has operated the course since 1990, restoring bunkers and greens to Ross's original contours.

Crystal Lake Golf Club sits on Route 102 in Burrillville, Rhode Island, on the shores of its namesake lake. The 18-hole parkland course opened in May 2004 and was designed by architect Howard Maurer, replacing a former dairy farm with rolling fairways framed by mature trees and water views. The 23,000-square-foot clubhouse houses a tavern restaurant open to the public along with banquet and event spaces overlooking the 18th green. Owned by the Bliss family, the club combines daily-fee golf with a busy wedding and events business, making it as much a gathering place as a golf destination in northern Rhode Island.
